Kevin Kittrell, a former longtime member with Nokesville VFD, and his wife are holding a charity event (through the charity he and his wife started a few years ago in Texas) at Station 5 for back to school items for kids in need in our local area. It is a one-day event where people will drive up behind Station 5, pick up a backpack full of school supplies, and drive away. The event will last about two hours. Finlay Fire is a sponsor of the event and will be staffing the event and NVFD will also be offering our support.
We hope you will help spread the word in the community for school supply donations as well sharing the Back Pack Pick up Day event. See below for details:
Donation Collection: Please consider donating school supplies before July 26. We have donation bins at the front door of Station 5.
