At 9:48 pm units were dispatched for a reported garage fire in the 13000 block of Tartan Hills Parkway. Engine 525 arrived on scene and reported a fully involved detached garage on fire, with fire coming out of the roof. Engine 525’s crew made an aggressive attack on the fire, knocking it down within minutes and stopping it from spreading to 2 homes located just a few feet from the garage. As other units arrived on scene they supported engine 525’s crew on their aggressive fire attack. Units on scene were Engines 525 and 505 (Nokesville VFD), 504 (PWC), 511 (Stonewall Jackson VFD), 501 (City of Manassas). Specialty units were Truck 511 (Stonewall Jackson VFD), Tower 501 (City of Manassas), Medic 525 (PWC), Ambulance 525 (Nokesville VFD), and Rescue 504 (PWC). The fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshals Office. No injuries were reported.
