Nokesville participated in the 97th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® Firefighters’ Parade on Friday evening, May 3, 2024, in historic Old Town Winchester. This is among one of the largest firefighters’ parades in the nation. The festival attracts crowds more than 250,000 people over 10 days. The parade includes modern and antique fire apparatus.
Tower 525 (2016 E-One Typhoon II 95′ Aerial) and Engine 525 (2024 E-One Typhoon II, 1500 GPM, 750 Gal.) joined in the parade with hundreds of other departments as they showcased their apparatus. We also entered these units in the muster competition and won an award for each of our units.
