What an amazing Saturday! 4:12 Kids (https://www.412kids.org) in partnership with Finlay Fire and Nokesville Vol Fire Dept held the 2022 Nokesville Back-to-School Drive-Thru Giveaway on July 30th at our Fire Station 5. This event was a huge success as we gave out 479 backpacks filled with needed school supplies during the 2-hour period. At one point traffic was backed up onto Marsteller Drive. Dr. Andy Jacks, Principal of The Nokesville School, along with family members from Finlay Fire and members of Nokesville Vol Fire Dept, manned the booths to hand out the backpacks.
This is just one example of what our volunteer members do. It is much more than riding on fire trucks and spraying water. We encourage you to learn more about all the opportunities we offer to be part of a great organization serving the community.
